How to evaluate bamboo toilet paper claims
Treat bamboo as a fiber description, then examine the product certification and the full claim. The material name alone does not prove a product is the best environmental choice.
FSC Mix and Recycled: which paper label are you reading?
Read the certification wording in full. FSC Recycled and FSC Mix are different labels, and a recycle-style graphic on a wrapper is not necessarily either certification.
Does more ply mean you should buy it?
Ply tells you the number of layers. It does not independently measure strength, comfort, lint or cost per use, so compare these separately.
